Return collection
Implementing the take-back system in stores
Starting from January 1, 2025, a mandatory collection of clothing and textiles has been introduced in Slovakia and in all member states of the European Union.
Following this obligation, the founding member of the SATEX association, EKOCHARITA SLOVENSKO SLOVENSKU, in cooperation with the largest manufacturers and importers of textiles and clothing, launched a return collection of reusable (re-use) clothing in selected stores.
How does it work?
Customers of selected fashion brands across Slovakia can bring clothing, footwear, and accessories that they no longer use but are still suitable for wearing to individual stores. They can hand these products over to staff at the cash registers or place them directly into collection boxes if they are available in the store.
